February 26 Official CD Launch Release Party (Ginalina with Friends from the Vancouver Chinese Music Ensemble at the Vancouver Chinese Classical Garden)
Current highlights of work include:
Released the first volume of a fusion family folk collection titled, Going Back, featuring remembered and remixed Far East vintage songs with lyrics in English, Mandarin, and Taigi (Taiwanese). Music highlights modern arrangements with guitar, erhu, guzheng, banjo, and accordion.
Recently created a children’s nature book trilogy that uses poetry with peaceful illustrations to highlight ecodiversity, community within nature, and environmental stewardship.
New Projects:
Upcoming concerts include LunarFest, the Vancouver International Chidren’s Festival, Art Festivals, and more. She’s currently exploring songs for Volume 2.
She also has several fresh collaborations underway including songs tied to her love for nature and all things wild, a multi-disciplinary art project with local muralist and illustrator, Paige Jung, and all-ages community workshops.
